The Organization’s Main programs

From the Ministry of Industry, Mining, and Trade’s projects compiled in 1399 (2020-2021), the Consumers and Producers Protection Organization designed a project titled Strengthening Monitoring Systems for Goods, Services, and Distribution Chains from Production and Import to Consumption.

The key programs related to this project include:

  • Modernizing Inspection and Monitoring Methods through the creation, strengthening, and expansion of monitoring systems, including the Goods and Services Storage Center System, the Goods and Services Price Information System, the Integrated Inspection Management System, and the Licensing System (for warranties and after-sales services).
  • Automating and Systematically Combatting Goods and Currency Smuggling using advanced technology.
  • Inspecting and Detecting Smuggling in apparel and textile products, home appliances, and other categories of goods.
  • Ranking Goods and Services Providers by utilizing community-based resources.
  • Engaging the Public, especially through NGOs, to support and participate in public campaigns.
